Get Away From It All With A Romantic Florida Vacation
Did you know that Florida is one of the top romantic travel destinations for American couples? With sun, sand, and more attractions than you can imagine, its popularity is understandable. Since Florida's climate is sunny year-round, it's not unusual for couples to plan several trips south throughout the year, just to take advantage of the excellent climate and the many activities available for holiday makers.
Here are two of Florida's many attractions, with some tips on what they have to offer.
Romantic Florida Vacations in Orlando

Although it may be one of the busiest cities in Florida, Orlando has its fair share of romantic attractions. From honeymoon suites to vacation homes, the two of you can stay in accommodation that's as close to the action or as quiet as you'd prefer. One very romantic option is to is rent a vacation condo or home in one of Orlando's adults-only residential neighborhoods. These vacation homes usually cost the same as (or less than) staying in a hotel for a week, and you have the added privacy of living in your own 'home' for the duration of your stay perfect for those intimate evenings together.
During the day, take a trip down to Lake Eola Park and enjoy a lakeside picnic lunch together. Rent a paddleboat for an hour, and take a glide across the lake, admiring the swans as they casually observe your progress.
Later, visit the Kraft Azalea Gardens, known to Orlando natives as one of the most romantic places in the city. This scenic park is full of walking trails lined with gorgeous flowers, and it's also one of the best places in Orlando to sit and watch the sunset.
Romantic Florida Vacations in Sarasota

Sarasota, Florida is an incredibly gorgeous destination, full of tropical flowers, exotic beaches, and an old-world Mediterranean feel that is unmatched anywhere else in the state. Known for its romantic appeal, the Lido Beach Resort is one of the most romantic and best-serviced resorts in Sarasota, and the incredible beachfront location is within walking distance to many of Sarasota's great attractions. St. Armand's Circle is just a few steps away, and is full of quaint shops, delightful cafes, and delicious restaurants the perfect way to spend an afternoon together.
Sarasota beaches are simply some of the best in Florida, with the whitest sand and calm, rolling waters. Lido Key beach has some of the best swimming on the Gulf Coast, while Longboat Key is known for its appeal to romantic travelers. Another excellent option is to take in one of Sarasota's dinner cruises, where you can choose from sightseeing cruises, dolphin watching, or even just a simple and romantic sunset journey.
Of course, if the two of you are up for some adventure, you could always take a day and visit one of Walt Disney World's four theme parks, admire the creatures at Sea World, or ride the roller coasters at Busch Gardens. Who says flying down a coaster at 90 miles per hour isn't just as romantic as a seaside dinner? The next time you're planning a romantic getaway, consider booking a romantic Florida vacation.
